Can I contact my child?

What does it mean to be a sponsor?

Being a sponsor means you are giving a child an opportunity to live a normal life in a loving home environment. You are helping them receive food, shelter, education and most importantly, love.
Sponsors are literally helping transform lives. Too many children in third world countries are orphaned and abandoned. An estimated 15 million orphaned and abandoned children in Africa alone or one child every 30 seconds. Many children are losing parent(s) to A.I.D.S. and they are left to survive at a tender age. They live on the streets, forage for scraps of food, beg and steal, are sold into slavery, and are abused and mistreated. These are the children that you are helping rescue.

Hearts of the Father Outreach has supported and operated homes of refuge for children in Ghana, Uganda, Mexico, Mozambique and India since 1994. We now help care for over 250 children in 7 countries with a goal to triple that in the next three years. In order to achieve this goal we need sponsors. $25.00 per month helps us sponsor these children. $22.50 of that money is sent to the countries where the programs are administered. For less than a cost of a cup of coffee per day you can sponsor a child. We need you! Help change a life today! Sponsor a Child!

Can I communicate with my child?

Yes you can! Your letters will not only bless your child but many times are read by friends and family and the whole village. We also encourage your child to send you a letter at least twice a year. Sponsors have even traveled and visited their children
