A small but mighty team left for Ghana on Feb. 28th and visited 18 orphanages in the Cape Coast area. The team distributed approximately 1500 Operation Christmas Child gift boxes. Joann Shmulsky brought her Dental Clinic and cared for over 250 children. The team also visited the JoshKrisDan Home and the 26 children living there. Dan Andrus helped out with the distribution of the gift boxes and lent a hand with his electrical expertise at the home. The team, led by John Moritz, took time out to visit the Cape Coast Slave Castle and walked on the “tree tops” at Kakum National Park. A newsletter with more details about the trip is in the works.
