ACTIVE PARTICIPATION
- Missions trips – one to two week opportunities to travel to an HFO site, visit the children, participate in outreaches, and help at the homes; trips are organized and led by HFO or HFO affiliates; participants cover their own expenses
- Walk-a-thon – join a diverse and fun group of children and adults for the annual, five mile Walk For The Orphans, held in November in Sheffield, MA. Rain, shine, snow or wind, the fundraising walk goes on, capped off by a lunch and more time to visit.
- Golf tournament and dinner – for men and women – businesses, family groups, and individuals team up to make this September event memorable and fun, on behalf of needy children, many of whom have probably never heard of golf.
